Start your morning with a journey to South America at our 2026 Cultural Breakfast, presented in partnership with Ottawa University, as we celebrate the rich culture and traditions of Colombia.

Join us on Wednesday, February 11th, for a special experience beginning at 7:30 AM with a traditional Colombian breakfast. Guests will then enjoy an engaging presentation from Alejandra Parra Herrera, a senior student-athlete at Ottawa University originally from Bogotá, Colombia. Majoring in Finance and Economics, Alejandra brings together her academic insight and personal heritage to share the history, beauty, and vibrant spirit of her home country. As a member of the OU tennis team in her final year, she is honored to give the community a glimpse into the culture that shaped her.

In addition to the presentation, attendees can look forward to door prizes, cultural information to take home, and a special gift from Colombia for every guest.

The event concludes by 9:00 AM, making it a perfect way to start your day with culture, connection, and global inspiration.
