The Ottawa Police Department will host a free presentation to learn more about responding to an Active Shooter Event.

The presentation will be full of information to help residents, business owners, employees, and others prepare to respond to and survive an Active Shooter Incident.

Members of the department's Community Public Safety Academy will also be attending as part of their 10-week program learning a variety of department operations.

This training is free and open to the public
